Comedic Short Film – “The Other Pastor”
SYNOPSIS:
From the writer/director who brought us the feature films “Uncle Reesie” (2016) and “The Slingers” (2013), comes this zany comedy/satire about church life and the relationship a church pastor has with a church member who has just broken the news to him that he wants to start going to a different church. It is written and should be acted as if it’s a relationship that is about to be broken up.
OFFER:
Actors will receive a digital copy, credit and meals. Compensation of $125 per day of shooting up to two days max. And of course the Actors will also benefit from a great production experience and material for building their demo reel!
PROJECTED SHOOT DATES:
Mid-April; 1-2 days of shooting.
AUDITION:
Cold read. Bring headshot and resume. Actors can also bring a memorized piece that contains a lot of running, rambling dialogue. The script is written and should be acted as if it’s a relationship that is about to be broken up.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

Two adults, male or female, with an acting age range between late 30’s to early 50’s

Talent must have a good sense and feel for comedic timing and are not afraid or embarrassed to look silly. The script contains a lot of clever dialogue that requires good line delivery and comedic timing.
