PROJECT:
Short Film – Independent Production Company.
SYNOPSIS:
When a young Thuunovian alien discovers a plan for an invasion by a mysterious race known as humans, she decides to hunt them down before they can threaten the existence of her people.
OFFER:
Actors will receive credit, digital copy of the film, and a meal.
AUDITION:
Cold Read. Bring headshot and resume. Come with prepared a monologue as well.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
- Ler’ka (20’s-early 30’s): A young, brash Thuunovian orphan raised by her community who is fiercely protective of her people, and cynical of anything unfamiliar to her.
- Tutsuwa (40’s-70’s): A wise and open-minded Thuunovian elder with an interest in experimentation and the study of the unknown universe, who is also an excellent winemaker.
- Claudia Roberts (late 20’s-early 30’s): A short, intelligent, and compassionate young woman who achieved a PhD by age 23 and was recruited by the United Nations Aeronautical and Space Administration (UNASA) shortly after graduating.
- Linus Abernathy (late 20’s-40’s): A cowardly, sniveling, and arrogant ambassador for the United Nations who’s more concerned with money and his own well-being than his job.
- Martez Wright (30’s-40’s): A no-nonsense, hard-headed United Nations Marine who has an intense love of weapons and a questionable set of morals.
