CHARACTERS:
DAN: African American male, 35-45 years of age. Dan is the owner of a garage and caretaker of his young nephew. He is extremely wise and kind, and tends to take on the role of the town’s leader. Actor must have incredible dramatic acting ability; this is a demanding role emotionally.
DOROTHY: Asian female, 14 to 18 years of age. Dark hair and slight build. Dorothy is the granddaughter of a Chinese immigrant but born in the U.S. She is extremely social, and lovers her friends and family deeply. Actor must have incredible dramatic acting ability; this is a demanding role emotionally.
CARL: Caucasian male, 60-70 years of age. Must have robust and round physique. Carl is the Major/Master of Ceremonies for the local Flax Seed Festival; he is the leader of the community and always has a big smile on his face.
