Videos Series for Old Town San Diego State Park
SYNOPSIS:
The Digital Team from NWB Imaging Inc. has been tasked by the Old Town San Diego State Park to create a series of videos to highlight the park itself and Fiestas Patrias, a festival that Old Town holds every year. Due to COVID-19, the state park is unable to hold the festival.
CHARACTERS:
We are seeking to cast 2 roles for (1) day of shooting here in San Diego.
The shoot will be indoors, crew members and cast members (when off-camera) will wear masks and social distance.
We are looking to cast a father and daughter role of Mexican or Spanish descent to keep in line with the historical accurracies of the story happening on screen. Preferred if actors are related but not necessary.
PLOT:
A young girl, hindered by the trappings of COVID-19, relives her experiences of Fiestas Patrias through an old scrapbook that her father shows her.
ROLE 1: Female, 6-14 years old. MAIN CHARACTER. Preferably Spanish or Mexican descent.
ROLE 2: Male, 30-50 y.o. MAIN CHARACTER’S FATHER. Preferably Spanish or Mexican descent.
Both roles will be paid.
