PROJECT:
Comedic Webseries “Recruited” – by 5 Talent Entertainment

SYNOPSIS:
This comedy webseries, in the style of “The Office,” “Scrubs” and “Parks and Recreation”, sheds a humorous light on the ups and downs of being a military recruiter. Staff Sergeant Benson has proudly served his country for 12 years in the US Marine Corps. He’s had 6 combat deployments and been stationed all over the world as a combat engineer. But now he faces his toughest challenge ever — a mandatory assignment as a recruiter, convincing 17-year-olds to join the Marines.

OFFER:
This is a SAG project shooting under the SAG New Media Deferred Pay contract. As a SAG New Media project, union actors will be considered first. Time permitting, non-union actors may audition.

• SGT Steve Ingram – male, any ethnicity, late 20s/early 30s, quiet, depressed, a bit “emo”

• MST GNY SGT Dobbs – male, 40s, any ethnicity, a complete asshole. Any way he can find to screw someone over, he will. Pretends to be friendly sometimes but is a jerk inside.

• C.O. MJR Bradford – male, any ethnicity, age 30-40 but must have a baby-face (look young), must be 5’6” or under

• Army Sergeant Ropati – male, Samoan, late 20s/early 30s, a little overweight 180-230 lbs.

• Navy Chief – male, any ethnicity, mid/late 30s, must be good at impersonations
